BLACKBERRY STORM VS. THE IPHONE

Recently, RIM came out with the Blackberry Storm, a sequel to the many blackberrys already released.
"The term "iPhone killer" is clumsily tossed around by bloggers and journos (including us) to describe almost any phone with a touchscreen, but by trying to actually innovate rather than imitate, RIM has conjured up the phone most deserving of the title yet."Says Gizmodo, the gadget blog.
There is something to say about the touch screen though, because it is certianly not your typical touch screen. "No matter how many times your fingers dance on the screen like you've been trained on every other touchscreen, nothing will happen. At least, not until you push the screen all the way down and you feel a click. Yes, the screen is a giant button, one you have to punch for basically every action, even every letter you type, completely breaking the touchscreen paradigm." Says Gizmodo. Although this would seem hard to work with, it is surprisingly effective, and getting very good reviews.
Although the reviews maybe raving, and it comes very close to an "iphone killer", it does not pass the iphone in apples innovative technology. Good try, blackberry.

What is an iPhone?

For those who don't know what an iPhone is, here is a simple peek inside the world of the iPhone. The iPhone is a hybrid of the iPod and the Mac, all compacted into the size of your palm. It has one button, located at the bottom of the screen. It is completely touch screen, and many say very easy to navigate. It has internet, a camera, mail, text, music, iTunes, games, and whatever other applications Apple, its creator, has available for the user to download free or of cost, not forgetting it is actually also a PHONE. The iPhone usually runs around 300-400 dollars. Some say iPhones are to complicated to pay attention to. However, iPhones are a revolutionary piece of technology.
